This isn’t for the zine, but I had to post it. It’s absolutely phenomenal. It’s by photographer Joel Sternfeld, taken in the late 70’s. I saw it at the Art Institute in Chicago, a brilliant exhibit called MIND AT PLAY.

The story behind this photo must be cool. What started the fire? Why are there pumpkins smashed to bits everywhere?
